On Dec 4, 2007. Mingo and I had our first child, Brandon Francisco Ramos. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed at 25 weeks in the womb with a congenital heart defect. He would have had to go through 3 surgeries to reconstruct his heart. The first one beginning right after birth. Brandon's heart wasn't strong enough to handle the stress of the labor causing him to pass away. Every day I think of him... how he would have been, looked at this age, and what he would be saying. But through this experience I have learned from so many other families that have experienced this same loss and we are trying to have the CBRS Bill passed in all states. Certificate of Birth Bill is to have a physical document acknowledging the birth of a stillborn child versus a death certificate. It is something so important for parents of stillborn children to have this document recognize that there was a life within us although they never took a breath. We want the world to know they lived and we want you to know it. As I read and browsed through your site... it has fulfilled me in an indescribable way. Thank you for sharing your experience, your love & MOST importantly Cristian's LEGACY with us. Brandon is now with Cristian and they are both waiting for us to join them once again!
